The Marion County Search and Rescue Team will host a BUNCO fundraiser this fall at the Ocala Shrine Club.
The fundraiser will take place on Saturday, November 6, at the Ocala Shrine Club located at 4301 SE Maricamp Rd, Ocala, Fl 34480.
Doors are scheduled to open at 5:00 p.m. There will be finger foods, beverages and a cash bar. Cash prizes will be awarded for the most BUNCO, most Wins and Most Losses.
The cost of the tickets is $20 per person and checks can be made out to Marion County Search and Rescue. The group encourages all to purchase tickets as soon as possible to ensure a place at the event due to a limited number of seats.
All proceeds will go to the Marion County Search and Rescue Team, a non-profit organization comprised entirely of volunteers.
The group was established to serve fire rescue, emergency management and law enforcement agencies in Marion County, Florida and the surrounding counties by special arrangement with the requesting agency. The team supplies trained Search and Rescue Teams to search, locate and assist with the rescue or recovery of lost, missing or incapacitated persons upon the request of official agencies.
“We work day or night, under any and all terrain or conditions. We provide preventive search and rescue programs for schools and civic associations. We also provide emergency preparedness training to civic groups and schools,” reads the group’s website.
