A charging mat is just another dongle. I prefer keeping is simple and would rather have only the cable without the charging dongle.

I don’t mind cables, at least they allow me to use my phone while it’s still charging. I’m hoping Apple won’t eventually get rid of the power port altogether, but it’s likely they will. Hopefully by then, wireless charging will be super fast.

We haven't tried this, but it's a neat design and the reviews look to be largely positive.

I just got the “Unravel”. Used it last night for the first time. Worked great. Clever design. Appears to be well made.

I think it’s highly irresponsible for MacRumors to recommend these products when nearly all of them lack proper safety certification such as UL listing.
