But the Internet loves this 18-year-old. "Ho, get choke views yeah? Errybody stay reposin' 'um. I never thought was going be that viral," Karl marvels.
His proverbial 15-minutes of fame has changed his life. He started a T-shirt business using his new catchphrase, as heard in that now-famous Sunday live shot: "I just like catch one fat fish, take em home and flex on em."
Several companies asked him to pitch their products. He can't remember the exact amount because he's getting a flood of messages and can't keep track anymore.
He's been on several morning radio shows; KSSK-FM played the Sunday interview, while HI93 Oahu's Steezy and Rella talked to him live on their show, The Morning HI. "Congratulations on your viral fame with this whole thing," Steezy told Karl earlier this week.
