DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Both Clinton and Scott County Emergency Management agencies want volunteers for Saturday as the search for Breasia Terrell enters it’s eighth day.

Registration for volunteers will start at 9 a.m. at the Low Moor Community Center, 211 3rd Avenue in Low Moor, Iowa.

According to a press release sent Friday night, no more search groups consisting of volunteers from that day will be sent out past 2 p.m., “or after all search assignments have been filled.”

Volunteers are asked to wear appropriate clothing and shoes for wading through brush and even muddy conditions and to bring food and water to stay hydrated as heat indexes are expected to reach 100 to 105 degrees.

Volunteers over the age of 18 will only be permitted and will need a state ID to register.

Earlier this week, Davenport police said new developments took them to the area between Camanche and Clinton searching for the missing 10-year-old girl.

Residents in the Camanche area told TV6 that officers were stopping by homes asking questions.

Police also have asked the public to think back to the night of July 9th and morning of July 10th and if they saw a maroon vehicle.

Any tips should be called into the Davenport Police Department 563-326-6125.
