U.S. Coast Guard search for missing 62-year-old boater - WJXT News4JAX

PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. – The U.S. Coast Guard is looking for a 62-year-old boater that went missing off Port Canaveral’s coast.

According to USCG, Stuart Bee went missing Friday afternoon after heading out of the Cape Marina at 4:00 p.m. He headed out aboard his 32-foot Sea Ray boat named the STINGRAY.

USCG told News4Jax he was the only person on the private vessel and has not returned home since.

While Mr. Bee did not specify when he would return, USCG says his brother called the authorities saying Bee never stays out on the water for more than 24 hours. Authorities have not been able to reach him through his cellphone.

The boat’s Florida vin is FL5123HU.

Authorities are asking anyone with information on Bee’s whereabouts to contact the Jacksonville Command Center at (904) 714-7558.
