SOUTHERN OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Many enjoy the pleasures of salt water fishing in Southern Ocean County. Those outside the area may not realize the opportunities for casting out in fresh water.
Although we requested photos limited to just Barnegat and Waretown, we could not pass up this shot submitted by reader Karen Darcy.
“I believe this is Fawn Lake. I took this photo when my fiancé was fishing,” shared Karen. "Gorgeous!"
Fawn Lakes may not be in either Barnegat or Waretown, but it's close enough for us. The trees and the skies paint a beautiful reflection of stillness and tranquility.
