Our fleets worked harder than ever in the last year to land fresh fish in unpredictable markets. This year, uncertainty continues, but so does industry determination to keep delivering fresh, wild seafood to a nation of consumers hungry for healthy home cooking options and a reopening restaurant sector.

One thing that’s bound to be different is Pacific Marine Expo in Seattle.

The 2021 Expo will take place at Lumen Field Event Center in Seattle Thursday Nov. 18 through Saturday Nov. 20.

“After a year apart, we are thrilled to be bringing our community together again for Pacific Marine Expo this November. Over the past year we have heard time and time again how important this show is to the commercial fishing industry, and we can’t wait to do our part to drive this business forward once again in 2021,” said Bob Callahan, Vice President of Commercial Marine for Diversified Communications.

Following a year of virtual offerings through Expo Online, the Expo and NF teams are quickly shifting gears for a live and face-to-face event, while continuing to offer a robust virtual series leading up to the show.

“Alongside our media partner, National Fisherman, we have been very fortunate to be able to provide top-tier digital content in the form of Expo Online throughout the past year. But we cannot wait to bring those valuable conversations back to the show floor this year in Seattle,” Callahan added. “The industry needs this show, and we are ready to deliver it.”

Safety and communication will continue to be paramount for the industry and the Expo this year.

“We want to assure our customers that the Pacific Marine Expo always has and will continue to make the health of our visitors, exhibitors, partners and staff our absolute top priority as we continue to make preparations for the 2021 event,” Callahan said. “Our team has spent months preparing and implementing rigorous onsite protocols that will ensure the safety of our guests and their ability to do business at Pacific Marine Expo.”

The Expo team’s protocol for safe practices onsite for the live event is based on All-Secure Standards. Diversified Communications events also follow the recommendations from public health officials; federal, state, and local authorities; and venues.

“Washington is on course to lift its broad covid-19 economic restrictions by June 30, if not sooner,” Gov. Jay Inslee told the Seattle Times. “And starting immediately, fully vaccinated people will have fewer requirements regarding mask-wearing, and can attend weddings, funerals and sporting events without limits on capacity.”

In the meantime, our sales team is at the ready to answer questions. Pent-up demand is resulting in exhibit space selling quickly.

For all of our attendees, registration will go live this summer. Sign up with the show team for updates to ensure that you don’t miss a beat.
