BRIDGEPORT — Five people needed to be rescued from the Seaside Park breakwater on Sunday night, according to Scott Appleby.
Appleby, the director of the city’s emergency communications department, said dispatch was called about the individuals at 8 p.m. He said Bridgeport Fire Department brought them back to shore.
He said none of them were injured, adding that Bridgeport police met them at the dock.
